Safe Harbour Security respects the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy summarizes how we collect information from you and how we may use it. By using this site, you consent to the terms of the Safe Harbour Security Privacy Policy and to the use of your information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use our site.
1. Age Restriction
The Mysafeharbour site is intended for use by individuals 18 years of age or over. If you are under 18 years of age, you may view our site, but you cannot open an account with Mysafeharbour.

When we process your transactions, we collect verification information from our credit card authorization services.
(3) If any information about items you register with Mysafeharbour is incorrect, you may contact our Customer Service Manager at support@mysafeharbour.com to request changes. Since the accuracy of the information contained in the Mysafeharbour Registry is critical to the integrity of the operations of Safe Harbour Security, we reserve the right to request written evidence from you to support any information submitted by you or any changes to such information.
(4) We may provide information about you to suppliers of items you register with mysafeharbour, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, age range (only if you provide it to us), gender (only if you provide it to us) and information about the items you have registered. Such suppliers include manufacturers, sellers, agents and dealers of the item or items you register with Mysafeharbour. These suppliers may use this information for marketing purposes, but our agreements with such suppliers shall prohibit the suppliers from any other uses of this information. While we will work with such suppliers to ensure their compliance with respect to these restrictions on use of your information, we do not guarantee compliance.
(5) We may use your information to contact you about any new or updated Safe Harbour Security products and services. We may offer optional questionnaires, surveys and other information to you to assess and meet your interests and needs. The use of the information collected in questionnaires and surveys will be explained in such questionnaires and surveys. You will be able to "unsubscribe" to such information mailings and contacts at any time.
(6) Safe Harbour Security may share aggregate information about our users with advertisers, business partners, and other third parties, but such information will not personally identify any individual. Example: Safe Harbour Security has X number of users from Ontario and X number of users from Alberta.
(7) If you terminate your Mysafeharbour account or deactivate certain registrations for certain items (see Termination below), Safe Harbour Security will maintain some basic information about you in association with all items registered, including your name and address. This information will only be used by Safe Harbour Security for internal record keeping purposes, as required by law or as otherwise permitted by you. Upon any termination of your account, Safe Harbour Security will also retain general information about you which does not identify you personally, but which may still be included with our aggregate information that is provided to third parties. Information that you provide to us can never be completely removed from databases due to technical constraints and the fact that we back up our systems.
(8) Safe Harbour Security may disclose your information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (intentionally or unintentionally) Safe Harbour Security's rights or property, its users, or anyone else. Safe Harbour Security may also disclose your information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it.
4. Information about other Mysafeharbour Users
You shall not use information about anyone obtained through this site for any purposes other than communications related to Safe Harbour Security services and the Mysafeharbour Registry, and unsolicited commercial messages are strictly prohibited. Mysafeharbour users do not tolerate spam. You shall not add any Mysafeharbour user to a mail list of any sort without that user's written consent.
5. Referrals to Friends
If you elect to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we ask you for the friend's name and email address. Safe Harbour Security will then send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit our site. Safe Harbour Security stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email. The friend may contact our Customer Service Manager at support@mysafeharbour.com to request the removal of this information from the Mysafeharbour database.
6. Cookies
We use "cookies" which are software devices that attach to your Internet browser. Cookies allow us to remember who visits our site, so that you do not need to re-enter a password multiple times, and to permit our server to recognize you when you visit our website in the future. We also use cookies to collect aggregate information about our users, but no personal information will be shared with recipients of this aggregate information.
7. Changes, Complaints and Termination
You may update or amend your account information, or terminate your account with Mysafeharbour by using clicking on the "My Profile" icon once you are logged into your account. 8. Links and Other Sites Associated with Safe Harbour Security
Our site may contain links to other sites, including sites of affiliated companies. We do not endorse or otherwise accept responsibility for the content or privacy policies of those sites. 9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
Safe Harbour Security reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, and we will promptly include any modifications within the online version of the Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this site after any modifications are posted to the site shall constitute your acceptance of all such modifications.
10. Transfer of Information to a New Site
Safe Harbour Security reserves the right to transfer the information you provide to Safe Harbour Security pursuant to this Privacy Policy to another site, but only for the purpose of continuing operation of the Mysafeharbour Registry and the terms of this Privacy Policy shall otherwise continue to apply to Safe Harbour Security.
